All of the plastic trims and rubber seals are free from the normal fading and remain soft to the touch while the inner arches and underside are excellent with no damage or any signs of corrosion.
Opening up and climbing in over the legendary Turbo inscription the interior tone is a Carbon spectacular offset by soft black leather that extends from the seats, along the dashboard and back down to the door panels. Throughout the car all of the leather is in excellent condition, with the vulnerable seat bolsters presenting free from any creasing or marks and still feel firm and supportive. Mod-cons operate without fault, and all switchgear remains free from unsightly marks or signs of wear.
The luggage area is in equally perfect condition with all the tools and spare wheel beneath the carpet.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Equipped with the X50 power pack, this example produces 450bhp compared to the standard 420bhp. This is achieved with larger turbos, modified intercoolers and a revised ECU, all of which results in 450bhp at 5700rpm and a maximum torque figure of 457lb ft at 3500rpm. It has a fully stamped up service history book with the last entry just 500 miles ago.
The 6 speed manual gear box is a joy to operate, pulling through the gears with perfect German precision. The Clutch was replaced along with the pressure plate at 43k miles while the RMS was also serviced at the same time.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
All of the alloy wheels, bolts and badges are unmarked and are shod in a matching set of Michelin Pilot Sports.
The discs hardly show any wear and the calipers immaculate.
